What is Cryptobeta?
Beta-Cryptoxanthin Complex is a citrus carotenoid ingredient made from Satsuma mandarin, a Japanese mandarin orange. It contains beta-cryptoxanthin, a naturally occurring carotenoid found in citrus fruits and other fruits and vegetables.
Beta-cryptoxanthin is also a provitamin A carotenoid, meaning it can be converted into vitamin A in the body when required. This ingredient is suitable for supplements, drinks, jellies, confectionery and functional food formulations.
